History
Short background:
Juli grew up the youngest in a family of two brothers. Being the baby of the family had its advantages—she was spoiled, pampered, and always got her way. However, once her brothers moved out of the house, she often received the brunt of her hard working mother’s temper.
Life went on normally for Juli, just like any other teenage girl’s life would. She encountered new friends and eventually graduated from high school. Although she was still a Daddy’s girl like she had always been, her mother was driving her all sorts of crazy. She had dreams about going into graphic design, and couldn’t wait to head off to college to get some space from the drama at home.
However, a close friend of many years, Miharu, called her one day. Juli understood where Miharu came from, and from their close bond since childhood, she opted to meet her at a hotel where they could get away and potentially start a new chapter of their life together.
By some strange twist of fate, the duo ended up at a festival Juli had happened to hear of prior their escape and found themselves in front of a psychic who told them that had within them some kind of power that would awaken before the next sunrise. Having absolutely no clue what the psychic was talking about, they left, only to be picked up by a dark haired woman who informed them about the ‘Sasayaita Namida’. They were once again told about some kind of power they held and that joining the organization would be in their best interests as a means of safety.
Juli was more hesitant than her partner, not being able to imagine life without her beloved ‘Daddy’. However, if Miharu was going to go, then Juli would too. She decided that she’d keep in touch with her parents and sneak out to visit her father as much as she could. As instructed to do so in order to ensure her family’s safety, she swapped her name for Tanaka, Rina.
Personality:
Considering Rina grew up with two working parents and older siblings, she became familiar with being on her own and doesn’t find it necessary to continuously seek companionship. That being said, she never objects to following around Kat like a little shadow. Although she occasionally gets bored of people’s company, it seems that Kat is the only one who she doesn’t get tired of being with.
She’s very shy and withdrawn when it comes to being thrown in with strangers, and she does have a tendency to be antisocial with people unfamiliar to her, but once she gets to become comfortable with people, she’s a maniac. She loves being happy and giggly and tries to get a good laugh out of her friends. Although she’s usually a bubbly personality, she does have her calm moments where she’s very laid back and goes with the flow.
Rina usually doesn’t get mad very easily, but when she does, her temper flares uncontrollably. If she’s in a bad mood, she will not hesitate to tell you so via curse words or insults as well as the occasional violence. However, most of the time, if she’s upset, she will simply be quiet and shut the world off with her mope (also known to her father as her “Halloween face”.) Aside from her hot temper, she has a bad habit of becoming jealous easily, not wanting to share too much of people she’s become close to. On the other hand, she doesn’t hold grudges for too long unless someone did something incredibly terrible to her or one of her friends.
Rina claims that she doesn’t care much what people say or think about her, but the truth is, she’s very sensitive. She has a few aspects of her that she’s insecure about—such as her big forehead—and does her best to hide it. As well as appearance insecurities, she fears not being perfect or being a failure. She also doesn’t like if someone raises their voice upon correcting her and doesn’t like when people yell at her for her faults or something she’s done wrong. (More often than not, she’ll tear up or cry because of it.)

It was half past twelve when she finally fell asleep, and within an hour, the storm had begun. Droplets were cascading down in waterfalls of white and gray lines against the charcoal backdrop. The occasional roar of thunder preceded the hop-scotch game of the lightning and it crept from cloud to cloud, illuminating the young adult’s bedroom window. Upon hearing the commotion outside, she was snapped into consciousness and a loud groan escaped her lips.
Prying her sleep-infested eyes open, she glared out at the raging storm that seemed to only hang above her window. “Why do you have to start nowww?” she wined, throwing her first down on her mattress, only to have it bounce up in a pathetic gesture. She wanted to sleep and the storm was preventing her from doing so.
The strength of the storm indicated that it was going to take its grand old time before it retired for the night, so she rose to her feet. Raking her finger through her blond tresses, she strode over to her sketch book, which was lazily tossed on her dresser. Grabbing her book, she slid one of the dresser’s drawers open and rummaged around for an HB intense drawing pencil and her favorite eraser. With her sketch book and drawing utensils in hand, she closed the drawer with her hip and stalked back to her bed.
Leaning back against her headboard, she brought her foot up to her side and crossed her leg over her bent knee. With her usual position, she opened her book and propped it on her crossed leg. It was an odd position, but it was comfortable and practical for drawing. With her trusty pencil in her left hand, she begun to draw.
[[Can you tell I got lazy? ^^;]]
